This quaint, secluded cottage was not in the rental market until 2004.
Walk down the steps to Captain's Cabin, nestled on a wooded hillside
below Horizons Cottage.
Captain's Cabin is a perfect getaway for a romantic vacation for two.
The octagon-shaped house has a wrap-around deck with 180 degree views of
Drake's Passage, Virgin Gorda and Tortola.
The floor plan of this completely tiled house is charming and practical,
too.
Upstairs, you'll find the living-dining area, which includes a
fully-equipped galley kitchen. You won't lack creature comforts like
cable TV, VCR, CD player, DVD player radio and great books. Also on this
level is the walk-out deck with breath-taking views, an indoor
half-bath, the private outdoor shower with two shower heads and plenty
of hot and cold water.
Downstairs, easily reached by exterior staircase, you'll find more great
views and the romantic bedroom reminiscent of a shipboard captain's
cabin. it featuring a king-size platform bed with plenty of storage in
the built-in drawers beneath the bed and a generous work area with a
stunning view.
Rental also includes:
- All linens, including beach towels
- Equipped kitchen including microwave, blender,
coffeemaker, grinder, toaster
- Gas Grill and utensils
- Cable TV, stereo, phone, free high-speed wireless
internet
- Beach chairs and coolers
- Additional refrigeration space with easy access from
the deck

2008-2009 season
High season: December 16-May 15:
2 persons, US$1400.00/week
Low season: May 16-December 15: 2
persons, US$1200.00/week
Christmas Week: December 24-January
1: 2 persons, US$1500.00/week

Extra persons: $300 per week, each.
Maximum occupancy of both cottages is 9 people, regardless of age.
Deposit: A
deposit of 50% of total rental fee is due with reservation. The balance
and a security deposit are due 60 days before occupancy. Return renters
pay no deposit!
Cancellation and refunds: Deposits are refundable upon cancellation if made no less
than 2 weeks (14 days) before rental period begins and only if the
property can be and is re-rented for the same time period. A 20%
cancellation/service charge is deducted to cover re-renting costs and is
not negotiable. Later cancellations will result in a substantial
reduction of the amount refunded unless a rental can be secured for the
entire period being canceled at no loss in rental fee.
Terms and Conditions: Captain's Cabin has a maximum occupancy of 3 persons, regardless of age.
Rental periods are based on a daily rate. Occupancy begins on your arrival day at 3:00 p.m. local time and ends at 10:00 a.m., local time on the contracted check-out date. Horizons and Captain's Cottage have been carefully designed and equipped to provide guests with a maximum of comfort and convenience. A cleaning fee is included in the rental fee structure and is non-negotiable. A rental contract must be executed before occupancy occurs. All rental requests are reviewed on a first-come, first served basis. Owner reserves the right to refuse any request and all such decisions are final.
Pet policy: Pets are permitted only by written agreement prior to renting and are subject to a surcharge and damage deposit fee.
Smoking policy: Both Horizons Cottage and Captain's Cabin are strictly
non-smoking properties.
