"Our stay at Sugar Bird cottage was amazing!!!! The views could not be beat. The sunrise could be seen every morning during our stay and was the best part of my day. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We cooked burgers and kabobs daily for meals. The bed was very soft and perfect for me! The wildlife seen from the cottage was so much fun to wake to daily. If you're looking for peace and quiet and epic views, this is the place to stay!"

"Sugarbird was perfect for our St John stay. We wanted downtime with access to snorkeling, and it was perfect. We hit a different bay each day...all within 10-30 minutes. The house was perfect for the two of us, with wonderful views. Even on hazy days (due to Saharan dust) we never tired of watching the sea and islands. Jennifer and her on site manager, Dena, were friendly, helpful, timely and very easy to work with. We'd definitely go back or recommend to others."

"Horizons Cottage is beautiful, with fantastic views of the sea and an open plan where you see the sea from everywhere in the house. Jennifer sent plenty of information about the house and the neighborhood before we arrived and Dena assisted us with everything we needed after we arrived. There was a minor problem involving the combination lock to the main door not working when we arrived, but Dena quickly sorted that out."

"The cottage was fabulous: remote, gorgeous, comfortable, clean, well situated, plenty of space and seating. I loved the location, antidote to civilization for sure. The 3 different decks were excellent. We barely needed the AC (only upon late arrival when everything had been closed up) and by the next day it was just ocean breezes. Everything we needed was there, towels, beach chairs, kitchen supplies and gear. Comfy bed. The views are spectacular. We expected to drive to Cruz bay once or twice but once we arrived we didn’t want to leave. The food options were delicious and low key and just right. The snorkeling was accessible nearby and also excellent. Thanks for a great trip!!"

"Heaven on Earth! We had an awesome trip in St John, could have stayed another week! So many beaches to choose from, and each absolutely beautiful. The layout of the house is perfect. Loved the indoor/outdoor shower. The house had everything we needed. "We felt very lucky staying at Horizons because as we explored the island, we quickly came to realize we were in the best location and probably in one of the best houses too. The house is comfortable and spacious, and the sea breezes through the louvres made everything feel cooland airy even when it got hot outside. The deck views and bathrooms are especially wonderful! We spent most of our time between Salt Pond Bay and Lemeshur Bay as those beaches are nearby, beautiful, and have great trail access and snorkeling (and way fewer visitors than the north side of the island) but it's really quick to get everywhere else too. We were really well taken care of by the owner and by her on-island manager. I can highly recommend this lovely house."

"We have been to St. John a few times, and love the Coral Bay side of the island. This home was perfect. It is in a great location - not far from beautiful beaches, snorkeling, and restaurants in the Coral Bay Area. The home is very well built and maintained, with comfortable furniture and beds. We loved eating and relaxing on the deck, and in the living room at night. The home was well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property manager was also very helpful with communication when there was a power outage on the island. We were fortunate that the outage did not affect the home we were staying in. A great location and great home - we would love to return."

"My wife and I went on our honeymoon here and we loved it. Definitely tucked away on its own corner of the Island. It was very secluded and the view was spectacular. Just minutes from Salt Pond Beach and Rams head and a short drive to many good restaurants and markets (Johnny Lime, Rhumb Line, Skinny Legs, Lime out, Love city Cafe). It was clean, A/C did the job, had hot/cold running water. The kitchen was perfect and the outdoor seating was very nice. Also definitely put the sugar in the feeder outside the kitchen window you will have some cool visitors! Jennifer and her property manager Dena were very responsive and kind. Although this was not a drawback for us there were some stairs getting down and throughout the property. Overall we loved this place and will always keep it in our back pocket for the next time we go to St. John. Thank you Jennifer!"

"If you're looking for a great view, this one can't be beat. The wrap around deck allowed us to enjoy sun or shade at any time of the day. The home was comfortably furnished, & had excellent ventilation through louvered windows. Kitchen was set up well, and had everything we needed to make a quick meal. The Coral Bay area is laid back, and relatively uncrowded. Just what we were looking for! Salt Pond Bay beach parking is 3 minutes away, and snorkeling there is really good. Other great beaches are generally within a 20 minute car ride. Awesome."

"Horizons Cottage is awesome! This house is as advertised with plenty of space and spectacular views of John Folly’s Bay (and the British Virgin Islands in the distance) from both levels of house with lots of outdoor seating options. The picture window from the main bedroom downstairs was nothing short of breathtaking. Also, it was quiet. We heard the ocean 24 hours a day, crickets at night, and the gentle rustling of leaves (and palm fronds) from the breeze through nearby trees. The house was well stocked with all supplies, accessories, and linens any houseguest would need. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Horizons cottage. We would definitely stay there again."
